What is life’s purpose? Is there one? And is it the same for everyone or different people have different purpose? That was the question Mariana asked and we discussed in Episode 2 of Beautiful Ghosts (YouTube and Podcast). We had different answers but in general we agreed that we give life our own purpose. Why is that? Think about the toaster and the shower as mentioned by Nico in the episode. They have a purpose; this purpose was given by the creator or maker of the toaster and the shower. You agree with this purpose when you use them with that same purpose.

How about life? Who is the creator? Are you the creator of your own life? If you are, then you are free to give it the purpose you wish to give it. For example, increasing knowledge and self-awareness as we mentioned. For us, life is a journey of self-discovery. We want to answer the question, who am I? The team at Beautiful Ghosts have different ways to address this purpose, but the purpose is similar. And the conversations we have are a way in which we come together with that purpose.

How about you? Are you the creator of your own life or are you accepting the purpose that others give to your life? Society, the media, other people, even I, will be very happy to give your life purpose if you don’t have one of your own. What’s your purpose? Don’t have one? Then answer this question: Who are you?

Make an impact,
Pablo
